Job SummaryA Truss assembler will Under direct supervision, perform one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly or sub-assembly line to produce building material components or millwork products.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssembles building material components such as wall panels, roof and floor trusses and/or millwork products such as doors, windows, cabinets, counters, vanities or closets. Processes include insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts and use of both hand and power tools.

- Possesses the physical strength necessary to lift heavy objects
- Can maintain the stamina needed for long hours of physical labor
- Works well with a team
- Proven assembly experience
- Knowledge and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble building materials
- Team player with organizational skills
- Ability to lift or move heavy products
- Exhibits effective communication skills
- Pays close attention to detail, to avoid assembly errors
- Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently
- Demonstrates excellent time management skills
- Shift is Monday through Friday 6am - 2:30pm. Also mandatory OT Saturdays 6am - 12noon
- Must have steel or composite shoes
- The position involves a significant amount of physical labor
- Dress code is jeans and t shirt
- High school diploma or GED is required
- This is an entry level position where the incumbent will receive on-the-job training
