The Facilities and Fleet Maintenance Manager plays a vital role in A’BriTin Catering and Hospitality. The ideal candidate should be creative, self-motivated, organized, safety-centric, and responsible. The Manager is responsible for all company facilities and maintenance needs. They play a crucial part in our Operations Team and will work closely in the upkeep of company equipment and property. Essential Functions
Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
Track expenses and oversee the maintenance budget.
Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
Create and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
Document and prepare daily and ongoing progress reports and maintenance logs.
Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
Manages Vehicle maintenance and operational functions.
Repairs kitchen, building, or other A’BriTin-owned and operated assets (as needed).
Negotiate contracts with outside vendors to execute maintenance work (as needed).
Resolve quality-related issues adhering to deadlines
Recommend and create improvement measures to the catering operations process to ensure quality control standards are met
Implement workplace safety policies and standards and partner with the Director of Human Resources and the Vice President of Operations on Safety and Security initiatives, including participating in the Safety Committee.
Qualifications (Required)
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification (required).
Automotive/Vehicular experience.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance/maintenance operations.
Familiarity with vehicular/automotive maintenance and operation usage (required).
Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Strong knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
General equipment maintenance experience.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to satisfy all physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; reaching above shoulder level; fine finger dexterity.
Ability to withstand a variety of indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
Qualifications (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
Previous managerial experience.
