Company Overview: Our client is a digital engineering company, providing solutions to many businesses around the world. Our client is seeking a GIS Technician to manage geographic software systems and data, and provide support to data users.

Position Summary: The successful candidate should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and equipped with some relevant experience utilizing GIS technology.

Responsibilities:

· Manage geographic software systems and data management processes.

· Provide expertise in the functions of geographic software systems.

· Offer support to data users utilizing GIS tools and data.

· Handle administrative day-to-day responsibilities related to GIS operations.

Necessary Attributes:

· Proficiency in geographic information systems (GIS) software.

· Strong data management skills.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities.

· Effective communication skills.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in GIS operations or related roles preferred.
• Previous experience in various sectors utilizing GIS technology preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• Relevant GIS certifications preferred.
