Looking for an experienced medical biller. The position is Part-time, 20-30 hours a week, Tuesday through Friday with some flexibility, on-site. This position requires a minimum of one year of experience in a medical billing setting. This is not a training position. Ashland/Talent area.
Calculating and collecting payments for medical procedures and services, including updating patient data, developing payment plans, and preparing invoices. Ensure that patients are billed quickly and accurately.
Pay is DOE.
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
Duties include, but not limited to the following:

• Billing Insurance
• Review accounts for insurance and patient issues
• Perform various collection actions including contacting insurance companies, and patients.
• Correction and resubmitting claims to 3rd party payers etc.
• Follow up on unpaid claims
• Checking insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments
• Bill secondary insurance
• Entry of patient payments
• Medical billing
• EOB's
• Experience with Medicare
• Excellent with phones and computers
• Must be detailed
• Basic knowledge of ICD10
• CPT/HCCPS coding procedures
• Solve complex problems
• Able to multitask at a fast pace
• Some authorizations.

Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
