Position Summary
We at A&H Truck repair are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable heavy duty trailer mechanic to join our team!
For over two decades A&H Truck repair has provided accurate repairs, ongoing maintenance and inspections for the Northeast Ohio region.
Essential Functions:
Duties can included but are not limited to:
· Responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair on all makes of heavy duty trailers
· Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed
· Perform PM Services
· Annual DOT inspections per company procedures and in accordance with FHWA regulations.
· Perform electrical diagnostics on trailer lighting systems and make corresponding repairs
· Diagnosis and repairs of various air systems and components
· Diagnosis and repair of ABS systems
· Diagnose and repairs of hydraulic/air brake systems
· Perform swing and roll door repairs and/or replacement
· Tire repair and replacement
Qualifications:
· Mechanical knowledge (Preferred) or willing to learn
· Must have a valid driver’s license (Required) Class A CDL is a plus
· Must possess own hand tools, larger tools will be supplied
· Must have the ability to become forklift certified.
· Welding experience desired but not required.
