**Job Title:** Clinical Director for Substance Abuse Program/ Residential and Outpatient Services
**Job Summary:**
We are currently seeking a Clinical Director to provide clinical oversight and quality assurance for our substance abuse program. The Clinical Director will be responsible for supervising licensed and unlicensed staff clinicians who provide community-based behavior health care services, with a focus on SUD. The position entails ensuring compliance with all applicable licensing, supervision, billing, and documentation requirements, as well as overseeing the timeliness and quality of clinical work.
**Duties:**
- Provide clinical oversight of all residential/outpatient services.
- Ensure staff compliance with credentialing.
- Monitor caseloads and ensure adherence to agency, clinical, legal, and ethical practices.
- Review and co-sign supervisees' progress notes, clinical forms, and correspondences.
- Provide regular feedback and evaluation to clinicians on the quality and timeliness of their work.
- Administer oversight and monitoring of billable hours requirement.
- Communicate any concerns about clinician's work to the Executive Director.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical practices.
- Facilitate group supervision or case conferences as required.
- Participate in staff meetings, administrative program meetings, and training sessions.
- Contribute to performance evaluations of clinicians.
- Supervise clinical staff, including meeting regularly with social workers/counselors.
- Provide crisis consultation and management as needed.
- Help clinicians identify professional development goals and monitor progress.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the mental health field.
- Minimum of two (2) years post-licensure experience in mental health programs.
- Maintain all required certifications throughout employment.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) as a clinical supervisor.
- Ability to obtain Mental Health Professional Person Certifications.
- Fingerprint clearance.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to utilize the chain of command to resolve problems and bring program development ideas forward.
- Efficient time management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- Knowledge of Medicaid and private insurance reimbursement procedures and billing is desirable.
