Role: Director of Development and Marketing Reports to: President and Executive DirectorFLSA Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 annually

The position could require travel, overnight stays, and nights and weekends for events and community-based meetings.

Do you have a desire and drive to cultivate donor relationships, managing development operations, and overseeing donor engagement, individual gifts, marketing, communications, and grants management? Vail Communities is looking for the Director of Development and Marketing to join our team! This role plays a crucial role in raising awareness, building relationships, and securing financial support for Vail Communities

What will you do?

Working closely with the President, Executive Officer, Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers, they will develop and execute a long-term fundraising plan. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong connections with donors, overseeing various aspects of development operations, and managing donor engagement, individual gifts, marketing, communications, and grants. All major job responsibilities and functions are to be carried out according to the standards set by the President and Executive Officer, the stated philosophy, values, mission, goals, and objectives of the organization, and according to the organization's written policies, procedures, and guidelines.
