General Summary:

The Mechanic is responsible for contributing to all golf course maintenance activities, assisting the Head Mechanic in the successful growth, maintenance, and operation of Tetherow Golf Course during the winter months. This person is also responsible for maintaining and repairing the fleet of Tetherow carts, scooters and golf boards, ensuring all are operating effectively during the golf season and repairing the fleets in the off season as well. The Assistant Mechanic displays a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

What you’ll do...

• Consistently maintain and repair Tetherow carts, scooters, and golf boards
• Inspect and test equipment to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions or read work orders or schematic drawings to determine required repairs.
• Repair and rebuild defective mechanical parts in electric motors, generators, and related equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
• Disassemble and reassemble repaired electric motors to specified requirements and ratings, using hand tools and electrical meters.
• Adjust working parts, such as fan belts, contacts, and springs, using hand tools and gauges..
• Record repairs required, parts used, and labor time.
• Preventative maintenance on Golf Course Maintenance equipment during the winter months
• Operate hand held power tools and motorized equipment in a safe, efficient manner
