Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer at Tomorrow RNG located in McKinney, TX. As an Engineer, you will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to renewable natural gas production. This includes analyzing and optimizing operations, developing engineering solutions, conducting feasibility studies, managing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance to field personnel, including identifying gaps in processes or procedures.
• Understand and apply the applicable code requirements to ensure engineering, materials selection, material testing, and intended operation meet all requirements.
• Understand and make decisions around the implementation of processes, projects, or procedures that have direct impacts on the overall system and the area operations personnel.
• Understand and apply Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safe and reliable operation within TRNG.
• Understand operational documentation requirements and be able to support audits.
• Support the development and execution of project scopes associated with the TRNG facilities and equipment.
• Support the investigation of failures and reliability issues and develop solutions.
• Represent Operations and Engineering in supporting various expansion and upgrade projects.
• Support the development of RNG facility budgets as required.
• Support, track, and be accountable for assigned project costs and ensure appropriate scopes of work are developed and followed as approved
• Develop an understanding of the TRNG plants and operations. Understand how they are utilized and assist with maintaining efficient operations.
• Provide support in emergency response situations and efforts.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's in Chemical or Process Engineering Field
• Minimum of four (2) years of experience in Chemical or Process Engineering field
Preferred:
• Understanding of Renewable or Natural Gas operation and reliability programs
• Competencies: computer, communication, negotiation, purchasing, etc.
• Good technical background. Experience in Facility Integrity, Reliability, or Operations..
• Organizational skills are a necessity. Engineer needs to be capable of managing the oversight of multiple projects
• High-quality oral communication and writing skills
• Experience leading in a team environment
• Time in the field may include exposure to extreme hot or cold weather environments that are noisy and dirty at on-going construction sites
• Knowledge of CFR 192 and other relevant codes a plus
Compensation details: 85000-130000 Yearly Salary
