You will identify core business needs, document concepts of operation,story maps, briefings, user stories, and business rules. You will also constructworkflow diagrams, create as-is and future state process maps, and provide gapanalysis as needed in an Agile process. Your essentialduties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
·Collaborateandconsultkey stakeholderstounderstand their processes,needs, and challenges.
·Be aprimarypointofcontactfordevelopmentand other efforts as part of agile processes.
·Condensecomplexbusinessprocessesintoclearandactionableuserstoreswithacceptancecriteria.
·Documentworkflowprocessesanduserstorieswith flowchartingtoolsandmethods.
·Facilitaterequirementselicitationusinginterviews,requirementsmeetings,surveys,document analysis, site visits, use case and workflow analysis.
·Actasaliaisonbetweenexternalandinternalstakeholdersanddevelopmentstaffintheanalysis,design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of systems to ensure optimaloperational performance.
·Translatebusinessrequirementsintofunctionalrequirementsandcreatebusinessrequirement documentation.
·Responsiblefortheimplementationandsupportofapplicationsandintegrationcomponentsto address business and technical requirements.
·Evaluatebusinessandtechnicalneedsanddevelopstrategiestosupportthese processes.
·Maintainavarietyofqualityassuranceandqualitycontrolactivities:
oPerformanalysis,setup,testing,andvalidationformultipleprojects.
oTestandtroubleshootfinalsystem setups.
·Maintainkeyprojectdocuments,dashboards,statusreports, issueandresolutionlogs.
·Performvariousanalysisduties,ad-hocreporting,andresearchtosupportday-to-dayoperational and strategic management decisions.
·Contributetothedevelopmentofprojectplansandleadsmallerscopeprojects.
·Otherdutiesas assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE,KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
Bachelor’sdegree in computer science, information technology or a related field orcollege level courseworkorequivalentcombinationofeducation/experience andexperienceinanalyzing,designing, testing, and documenting productionsystems.
·Threeyears (3) ofexperienceinbusinessprocessanalysis,applicationimplementationsandtraining,project coordination/management and business-related experience.
·Agiledevelopmentpracticessuchascontinuousintegration/continuousdelivery,backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
·BusinessanalystprocessessuchasthoseoutlinedandusedintheInternationalInstituteofBusiness Analysis BABOK guide.
·Projectmanagementmethodology,standards, documentation, andbestpractices.
·ProficientwithMicrosoftOfficeTools(Word,Excel,Outlook,PowerPoint).
·SoftwareDevelopmentLifeCycleanddevelopmentconcepts.
·SQLServerand/orDB2database experience.
·Facilitateworking meetings, elicit, and solicit information, and absorb the informationcommunicated;facilitateasharedunderstandingofproblems,solutions,and project scope;facilitate solutions to technical challenges amongteams.
·Applycriticalthinkingskillsto determinetheappropriatenessofrequests,withperiodicreviewsof businessprocedurestoclarifyorchangeabusinessprocess.
·Prioritizeacrossmultipletasksinafast-pacedenvironment.
·Managetimeeffectivelytomeetdeadlines.
The salary for this position is between $100,000 to $125,000 peryear, depending upon factors such as qualifications, experience, skill levels,technical competencies, and other criteria.
