75-$20.00 / hr DOEM-F 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pmWhat does the Medical Assistant do?The Medical Assistant, under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment.

The essential duties and responsibilities : Escorts patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment room as appropriate.

Records patient data prior to each physician visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.

Assists with procedures as requested.Performs other administrative duties, i.e., typing, filing, faxing, scheduling, chart preparation, reception, etc.

as requested by supervisor or physician.The ideal candidate for the Certified Medical Assistant position will have the following background and experience : High school graduate or equivalent required.

Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants strongly preferred.Current and active Certified Medical Assistant required.

Willing to consider an entry-, mid-, or senior-level candidate.Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required.

Some state regulations may require specific certifications in order to work as a Medical Assistant.
