Collections Specialist Compensation
- The pay for this position is $22 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Collections Specialist Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Mon-Fri 8a-5p (fully onsite)
Collections Specialist Responsibilities
- Field a variety of customer calls with a passion to deliver high quality solutions for our customers
- Collect payments on predefined accounts through problem resolution, servicing and negotiation techniques.
- Review account status, advise customer of current status, and request additional information as needed on inbound / outbound calls.
- Ability to negotiate payments consistently and proficiently on accounts within all level stages of delinquency within one line of business.
Collections Specialist Requirements
- Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Familiarity with digital phone systems
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Collections Specialist Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year Banking/Financial experience
