A-Line is now hiring 15 Work from Home Medical Record Acquisition/Intake Specialists. The Intake Specialist would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be between 35-40hrs per week.

Compensation for Medical Record Acquisition/Intake Specialist:

• The pay for this position is $17.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

Schedule for Medical Record Acquisition/Intake Specialist:

• Monday thru Friday - 9 AM ET – 4 PM ET (9 AM ET-5 PM ET with managerial approval)

Job Summary for Medical Record Acquisition/Intake Specialist:

• Conducting outreach phone calls (Average of 40 calls per day) to provider offices/copy services for the successful and timely acquisition of patient medical records; on behalf of the client’s health plan for their validation reviews and audits.
• Performance will be measured and scored on a weekly basis, to ensure achievement ofexpected daily call volumes, professional business-to-business conduct, and desired call outcomes of timely medical record retrieval.
• Managing confidential information in accordance with the client’s PHI policies for handling medical records and supporting documentation (printing is prohibited and all computer usage is monitored for security compliance and productivity purposes)
• Diligent and thorough follow-up on medical record requests, as required
• Digitizing paper-based medical records into computer and call outcome retention and quality data entry (based no need - onsite required, in accordance with current CDC protocols)
• Appropriate and concise communication with other staff members (including Client Support Specialists) through escalation processes; whom may aid in the retrieval of targeted medical records
• Daily Timesheet submission

Requirements for Medical Record Acquisition/Intake Specialist

• HS Diploma
• Medical records experience required
• Internet Speed - Anything higher than 25 Mbps
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Outlook, RightFax, Windows Explorer, Notepad, and Microsoft Teams (video required for mandatory daily huddles).
• Commercial Insurance Audit- Calling Providers for records
