Remote – M-F 8am-4pm
1 day in office a month required
Minimal Travel - Approximately 3-5 times per year for meetings, training or investigations in the Harrisburg area or surrounding Central PA areas
Risk Management Specialist Compensation
The pay for this position is $27.00 an hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Risk Management Specialist Responsibilities
Participation and/or Facilitation of Regional Risk Management meetings, Regional AE/County Risk Management meetings, and Regional Quality council or other meetings as required.
Support the AE Provider Risk Screening Process by preparing data, completing reports, serving as a Steering Committee member, and providing technical assistance and guidance to AE/Counties and Regional Risk Managers as well providing recommendations for process improvements.
Utilization of Excel and other statistical software, Word, Access, and Power Point.
Use of multiple web-based applications related to the HCBS service system.
Preparation of RM and QM reports for committee/forum review
Completion of committee and forum meeting minutes
Review of County IM Analysis reports
Drafting of Regional IM Analysis reports
Certified Investigation of critical incidents
Certified Investigation Peer Review Process
Contribute to development and updates to the Certified Investigator course curriculum.
Participate in forums related to incident and risk management including investigation forums.
Conducting trainings involving Incident and Risk Management (this can involve trainings on regulation, policy, or tools used to report and analyze such as web-based applications)
Providing technical assistance with any web-based application, policy or regulation related to incident and risk management.
Participate in IT system development, system enhancements, and related system testing.
Review draft policy, announcements, and any other ODP issued documents as requested.
Risk Management Specialist Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Education area or seven years’ experience in a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with Incident Management/Risk Management, quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting is preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working within the ODP service system; knowledgeable in program regulations and operations; experience using web-based applications that ODP utilizes such as HCSIS and EIM is strongly preferred.
Advanced computer skills including use of Microsoft Office software; how to chart/graph data and display in visual analytics
