- A&M Furniture Store is seeking a friendly and service oriented, Inside Sales Associate to join our team! As an Inside Sales Associate, you will greet and assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register/computer, stocking the sales floor and maintaining the store's appearance along with great customer experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales/customer service, basic math skills and a flexible availability.
- Greet each customer with a friendly smile, communicate with customers to find out their needs and provide assistance while they are shopping.
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Apply customers for financing options.
- Collect payments by cash and credit card.
- Issue receipts to customers.
- Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory and presentation of store appearance.
- Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.
- Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
