AMC Transport and A. Merante Contracting, Inc. operate within the heavy highway and infrastructure construction industry.

The primary function of this position is to move equipment and materials to and from our job sites. In addition, the driver is expected to:

• Be familiar with and follow D.O.T. regulations
• Conduct proper pre-and post-trip assessments to ensure equipment is in good working order
• Pickup and/or deliver materials or equipment safely to job sites
• Conduct general maintenance and housekeeping to maintain equipment.
• Clean up the work area and equipment at end of the day and ensure all equipment is properly secured for the night
• Make sure that all tools and equipment are picked up at the end of each job.
• Perform Special Projects as Needed

Requirements:

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Clean Driving Record
• 5 years of experience hauling Construction Equipment, Oversized and Permitted Loads
• Computer and tablet capable – all reporting is done electronically
• Ability to be on time and work with minimal supervision
• Good physical condition, able to climb in and out of equipment
• Flexibility in schedule – Days and, sometimes, evenings\weekends
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
