Role:

APV is seeking two full-time and one part-time MEPRS subject matter expert (SME) with, or eligible to obtain, a Secret security clearance to support a Defense Health Agency (DHA) customer. This work is not performed in Government facilities except for approximately 2-3 weeks of travel each year to visit and train DoD personnel at Military Treatment Facilities world-wide. This role offers the chance to play a strategic role in delivering innovative, mission-critical, and effective training solutions to a valued client.

Duties:

The MEPRS SME will:

• Serve on a team of 10-15 contractors personnel supporting DHA.
• Apply working knowledge of the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi), Composite Health Care System (CHCS), MHS GENESIS (Enterprise Health Record – eHR), DoD Workload Assignment Module (WAM) for the Expense Assignment System (EAS)
• Apply SME knowledge of Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System to provide strategic consultation, technical, and training support to DoD personnel.
• Develop and update an issue resolution process to support the Financial Performance and Reporting System (FPRS) MEPRS sub-workgroup.
• Develop requests for changes in Expense Assignment System (EAS), MHS GENESIS, Defense Financial Accounting System (DFAS); Defense Medical Human Resource System-internet, (DMHRSI); and other systems that support MEPRS.
• Support the development and sustainment of MHS GENESIS MTF Patient Care Location and Naming Convention file for DMIS ID and MEPRS Code alignment.
• Support the continued evaluation, development, and implementation of EAS IV version updates.

Education and other Requirements:

• B.A. or B.S. degree required.
• US Citizenship

Required Skills and Experience:

• 14 or more years of intermediate contractor, military, or government civilian service in the DoD.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience supporting the MEPRS program, the Expense Assignment System (EAS) application, and the EAS Repository.
• Experience providing data analysis from the Business Objects EAS IV Repository, EAS IV Application, MHS Mart (M2), DMHRSi.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work as a member of a team.

Security Requirements:

• Ability to pass a background check as part of the process of obtaining a government security clearance.
