Job #51653: Two Sweet Kids In University Park Need A Creative & Active Nanny
(Lovers Lane & Preston Rd)
Message from Parents: We are a growing family that lives in University Park, Dallas. We have two little girls and are due with a third child in September. We have two small dogs. Mom and Dad both work from home.
About the Children: Our oldest child is 3 years old and is starting preschool at the end of August. She will be there from 8:45am to 11:45am, Monday-Friday.
Our youngest is 18 months old. She is very sweet but slow to warm up to new people. She enjoys going to classes and outings.
We are expecting a third child at the end of September.
Their Ideal Nanny: We are looking for an experienced, active, and kind nanny who excels in creating engaging crafts and art projects for children. Our ideal nanny is patient, with a background in child development, and adept at communicating with toddlers and handling tantrums. Flexibility is key, as we need someone who can potentially travel with us or stay at our home to watch the dogs when we are away. Daily responsibilities include cooking nutritious breakfasts and lunches for the kids, and cleaning during their naptime. Our perfect candidate avoids phone distractions, loves taking the children to local parks, gardens, museums, and the zoo, and enjoys indoor activities like arts and crafts and reading on rainy days. They should be knowledgeable about child development, capable of speaking to children at their level, and bring a bubbly, upbeat attitude to our home.
Additional Job Details: The nanny can use a family car most of the time, unless both parents need to take their cars, in that case, the nanny would need to drive their own car to transport the children. The ability to provide occasional dog sitting overnight or for a few days at our home, if we go out of town, is required. In the future, potential travel within the USA. Passport ready would be nice, but not mandatory.
