Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure efficient office operations. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing mail
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
- Assist in organizing and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Assist with data entry and record maintenance
- Support the team with clerical tasks as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Knowledge of phone systems and customer support principles
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental receptionist role is advantageous
- Familiarity with event planning and basic accounting principles
