Shipping & Receiving Clerk I 2nd Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to efficiently manage the receipt and shipment of materials, supplies, and products to join a co-packing and packaging design company in Bartlett, IL that helps brand companies bring products to market.

Although this is a Temp to Hire position you would be eligible for a Direct Hire after 90 days and you will be working in a temperature-controlled facility.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities :

Effectively use available systems and technology to ship and receive materials in a timely manner.

Verify material prior to shipment for accurate case quantity, correct labeling, quality conformance, and packaging integrity.

Work with internal departments (Quality, Production, Client Services, Warehouse Management) to report and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Verify receipt of material from suppliers, process paperwork, and complete all necessary transactions, including email notifications as required.

Complete shipping and receiving transactions in client partner systems as required.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Ability to accurately perform data entry tasks.

Strong computer skills, detail-oriented, organizational skills, self-motivated, creative problem solving, and must be a team-player.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong math skills.

Benefits :

Eligible for health insurance after 90 days; premiums deducted pre-tax.

401K enrollment after 90 days (21 years old, 30 hours / week); company match available.

Earn 1 hour of paid leave per 35 hours worked, up to 40 hours yearly; carry over up to 16 hours.

Access paid leave after 90 days, up to 40 hours per year.

Shift : 2nd

Pay : $19-$24 / hour $0.50 / hour shift differential
