Part-Time Pastry Chef Assistant (Vegan Macaron Development)

We are looking for a passionate and skilled pastry chef assistant to join our team on a part-time basis to support the development of innovative vegan macarons in our commercial test kitchen.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with our head pastry chef, gaining valuable experience in recipe development and production within a professional setting.

Responsibilities :

Recipe Development Support : Assist the head pastry chef in creating and testing new vegan macaron recipes, experimenting with flavors, textures, and ingredients.

Ingredient Preparation : Prepare ingredients and mise en place for recipe testing and production.

Kitchen Maintenance : Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the test kitchen (dishwashing required).

Qualifications :

Culinary Experience : Prior experience in a professional pastry kitchen or relevant culinary training.

Vegan Baking Knowledge : Familiarity with vegan baking principles and ingredients.

Technical Skills : Basic understanding of pastry techniques, including meringue preparation, piping, and baking.
