Residential HVAC Outside Sales Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home consultations with leads generated for you from our corporate marketing team.
  • Present air conditioning, gas furnace, heat pump, mini split, and other HVAC products options with home owners.
  • Maintain lead pipeline through continued customer outreach and prospecting.

· Ride along with service technicians and review service tickets to identify lead and sales opportunities

  • Attend the Lennox Buildasalesperson Training

Qualifications:

  • Valid Drivers’ License
  • Residential service experience is preferred
  • 3 years with excellent customer service skills and HVAC/R Outside Sales experience

The 2024 Plan has been improved to provide you with even greater earnings opportunity driven directly by your personal contributions.

10 Step Best Practices for top sales leaders:

1) Maximize opportunities for training to increase your product knowledge and credibility in the home

2) Prepare thoroughly in advance of every sales visit. Go to the door with a plan and goal

3) Build rapport and trust with the homeowner. Be seen as a problem solver rather than an order taker

4) If you are having trouble closing the sale, call your manager from the home to get support/ideas

5) Ensure you provide offers at least 90% of the time

6) Offers should always include 3 differentiated options (Great—Better—Best or Gold—Platinum—Diamond)

7) Stick to the Discounting SOP guidelines. We win most often by selling Best Value, not lowest price

8) For any sale not closed during the visit, send the customer our Best Practice Proposal before end of day

9) Rehash all unsold leads with three touches (call—text—email) within 24 hours and again at 48 and 72 hours

10) Ask satisfied customers for referrals. Send them Thank You Notes. Follow up post-install.
