Looking for a certified medical assistant who is ready to work, take on roles and enjoy being around kids.
**VACCINE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
Essential Duties
- Greet and escort patient to exam room, gather patient history, measure vital signs and document all information in patient medical chart.
- Assisting physician with patient care
- Nebulizer treatments, administering injections
- Administer medications under the supervision of the physician
- Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked with adequate medical supplies
- Treats all patients and their families with dignity and respect.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Give immunization
- Work with EMR (eclinical work)
- Team Player
- Eager to learn and work
Qualifications
- 1yr experience with pediatrics
- Certified Medical Assistant
- BLS/ CPR certification
- Knowledgeable of Medical Terminology
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge with medical terminology
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- EMR systems: 1 year
- Vital signs: 1 year
- 1yr experience with pediatrics
