The Assistant Residence Manager will participate and be responsible for the smooth operation of the residence up to and including the individuals’ safety and care, the staff supervision/evaluation and focus, and the site’s cleanliness and appropriateness.

The duties of the Assistant Residence Manager include, but are not limited to:

· Assists Residence Manager with monthly schedules

· Completes and implements Daily Assignment Sheets

· Participates in staff training sessions

· Supervision of staff

· Ensures the safety of individuals

· Maintains accurate ledgers for PIA accounts

· Coordinates transport needs for individuals.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience in a residence which must include at least 2 years in a setting for people with developmental disabilities

OR

· Two years of College with 2 years of related experience

OR

· Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related experience

· Must be able to qualify for AMAP, SCIP, and AMAP certifications

· Valid driver’s license
