Premium Brands Services, LLC Job Search Website Posting Premium Brands Services, LLC is seeking a Database Administration III in Pataskala, Ohio Job Description: Manage and maintain all production and non-production databases. The role will be responsible for standards, design of physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security administration. The Database Administration III creates detailed architecture and support documentation that can be used by other team members. He will perform back up and recovery, configure database parameters and prototype designs against logical data models, and define data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing requirements. This position optimizes database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance, and costs, and works independently with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues associated to database and applications associated to databases. Minimum Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field of study plus five (5) years of work experience in the position offered or related position. Alternately, the employer would accept a Master’s degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field of study plus two (2) years of work experience in the position offered or related position. Position also requires two (2) years of work experience with the following: Designing and building multiple Oracle RAC databases for use in a production capacity; Upgrading and patching oracle databases; Setting up and maintaining Oracle Dataguard; Tuning Oracle RAC databases; and Utilizing RMAN backup and restore functions.
