A1 Creative Packaging is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Whitewater, WI

  • Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will coordinate production of customer packaging projects and related services for the company's customers. Own overall relationship with your customers and maintain positive customer relations through active engagement through all stages of the manufacturing process from initial contact through final disposition of the customer's product.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, email and phone etiquette.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Confer with customers throughout production to keep them informed of the status of jobs, solicit additional information needed for current jobs and coordinate changes to jobs/products
  • Forward/review First Lot Approval pictures to the customer, verify all incoming components for the job and inform the customer of any material shortages
  • Ensure job instructions and documentation are entered and verified in the ERP systems
  • Coordinate production of components with other internal plants and/or external vendors as required
  • Coordinate the resolution of customer or manufacturing issues with customer jobs. Engage appropriate departments to verify the issue and determine the root cause. Communicate with customers regarding the resolution of issues
  • Monitor progress of jobs throughout production, confer with manufacturing operations on counts and final runs and ensure the final product meets customer requirements and company standards.
  • Obtain customer approvals for any overruns or shortages on their POs and communicate to shipping and billing to close out job
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent with 2-5 years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Requires excellent knowledge of functional area(s) related to the job or good knowledge related to a professional field of work
  • Must have advanced knowledge of technology to include computers and software programs such as MS Office, inventory management or other programs specific to the job to complete job duties successfully
  • Self-starter who can hit the ground running, get up to speed quickly and has the willingness to take action finding opportunities to support, train, and develop people
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of the products/services offered and individual components to deliver customer's expected experience
  • Demonstrated passion for problem solving, relationship building and creating customer loyalty
  • Proven track record of strong leadership, motivation, and coaching skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet commitments to customers
  • Advocate for the customer within the company and marshal the resources to meet customer expectations or to obtain issue resolution
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple levels within the organization
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven
  • Strong organizational, planning, and process management skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
