Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate routes effectively. If you have experience in delivery driving, route driving, or courier services, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: - Safely operate various types of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, and vans - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries - Load and unload goods and materials from the vehicle - Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues that may arise - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations - Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to navigate routes using GPS or maps - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed - Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
