From expert installation of top brands, including Lennox, Bradford White and Mitsubishi Electric, to full- service cleaning and preventive maintenance plans.

Glasco is looking for an energetic, dynamic General Manager who is skilled in the in-home services industries. If you are looking to earn an income of $150k plus and expand your career with a growing company that truly cares about its employees, then Glasco is for you.

This position encompasses all aspects of the operation. Most importantly you will be responsible for making things happen and getting things done. To accomplish this you must be a team builder while being highly attentive to our customers’ and team members’ needs. You must be able to keep a fire lit in the organization and create a sense of urgency both during busy and slow times.

You will be responsible for office administrative functions, to include service dispatch, service agreements, purchasing, inventory control, technician and office personnel productivity, human resource procedures, marketing, and sales management. Your success will depend on your ability to hire and keep good people and get the most out of each and every member of the organization.

The Mission

The mission of this General Manager (GM) is to ensure continued growth and success of the operation. The GM is responsible for employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and retention, and steady profitable revenue and EBITDA growth. Perfect alignment with the company’s customer centric continuous improvement mission statement is imperative. The GM must provide leadership in strategy, sales, operations and demonstrate passion for the employees and Glasco customers. A successful GM is innovative, driven, and has a passion for leading their team to achieve company objectives.

The Position

The General Manager has direct responsibility and will own the P&L for their location. They are responsible for all service, client and business development, sales, installation, safety, quality, and service to the customers. They manage the operating budget and will serve as a true P&L leader for the company. They interact across multiple organizational levels of the company and must strive to build relationships across service offerings provided by Glasco. They report to the Chief Operating Officer and serve as a member of the management team, responsible for developing the annual strategic plan for their company and tactically delivering the planned results.

The GM must be proactive and capable of operating in an autonomous fashion, yet also demonstrate the ability to work in a team and to act as a mentor and coach to their direct reports. This position requires excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills needed to team with other members of the leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • This position will manage the P&L performance of their company. They will define and deliver the strategy for the region and be responsible for sales, project management, integration, operations and overall financial performance.
  • They will establish operational improvement program; identifying, assessing all process and procedural improvements, with the goal of increasing profitable returns and reducing costs, while still maintaining quality.
  • Play lead role in management meetings, presenting relevant operational presentations and updates up and down the chain of command.
  • Provide assigned staff with ongoing feedback, direction and guidance to insure well-motivated and productive workgroup that achieves its goals at all times.
  • This position must operate as a true strategic and tactical leader for the Company, managing, mentoring and leading the organization.
