This position within the Claims Department provides oversight and leadership aligned with Club business lines and inter-club business. Develops strategic sourcing and supply chain solutions . Assists Senior Management with strategic procurement planning to ensure business goals and imperatives are met. Establishes processes to insure that industry best practices, innovative ideas and competitive advantage solutions are captured. Manages, tracks, and reports supplier performance, requests for information/proposals, development and execution, contract negotiation and execution, ensuring department and corporate compliance standards are met. Supports the strategic direction by providing timely resolutions to client issues that enhance quality standards and performance.
Responsibilities :

• Supports the strategic direction by providing timely resolutions to client issues that enhance quality standards and performance. Consults with the business to determine needs, analyzes potential solutions, and acts as a consultant/team lead on projects as required to provide timely resolutions to problems and client concerns, ensuring department quality service objectives are met.
• Ensures each assigned category/commodity set has a strategic roadmap aligned to business requirements or future needs. Develops spend management and analysis. Continually researches innovative tools to improve spend analytics.
• Assists senior management with strategic procurement planning and develops extensive written documentation to ensure business goals and imperatives are met.
• Establishes and/or develops processes and improvements to existing processes for the commodities/categories that ensure industry best practices, innovative ideas and competitive advantage solutions are captured.
• Establishes and negotiates terms and conditions on contracts. Works with the Office of General Counsel to ensure contracts are correct and enforceable.
• Creates measurement standards to support department growth toward achieving industry best practices. Manages processes for supplier performance management, request for information/proposal development and execution, contracts negotiation and execution, ensuring department and corporate compliance standards are met.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or/an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Experience:

• Negotiating claims services and insurance specific vendor goods and services (e.g. independent adjustments, private investigations, glass, rental, temporary services, etc.)
• Procurement with a strong focus in non-production
• commodity management

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems
• Contributing to and helping lead a transformational level change within a procurement organization.
• Developing a highly rationalized and diverse supply base optimized to business needs.
• Explore alternative approaches/innovations to strategic sourcing and supply chain activities.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$114,800.00 - $153,100.00
