Position Summary:
Responsible for Automotive Services including all aspects of providing roadside assistance to AAA members. Provides strategic leadership to Automotive Services team including the Member Services Call Center, Club-owned Fleet, Mobile Services (MyPitCrew), independent contractor roadside assistance provider relationships, Approved Auto Repair, and Field Operations. Plans, budgets, and directs all Automotive Services department functions. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and implementing strategic plans to meet the overall goals and objectives for the department by translating strategic vision and innovative changes into tangible results.
Oversee system implementations and programs to achieve and maintain a high-level of member satisfaction and renewal rates. 
Responsible for analysis of operational data and metrics and reporting to Executive Leadership, Senior Leadership, and Board of Directors. 
Utilizes data to support decisions and align with the organization’s overall strategy. 
Collaborate effectively with all business lines to meet current and future objectives of the organization. 
Oversee the evaluation and implementation of effective technological solutions to support area operations.
Responsible for operating within budget to achieve a positive financial position and works to increase revenue and improve performance.
Manage negotiations of contract terms and evaluates compliance in order to create and maintain third-party relationships to provide services to members. 
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes. 
Provides guidance to direct report managers so that employees are engaged and performing successfully.
Responsible for building, developing, and maintaining a strong and effective team. 
Represents the Member Services, Automotive, and Fleet business lines on committees and work teams, such as national club councils, to broaden perspectives and support innovation. 
Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.
Incorporates Hoosier Motor Club’s and AAA’s vision, mission, and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to Hoosier Motor Club’s and AAA’s vision, mission, and values.

Qualifications


Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Provides direct management and oversight to the Member Services, Automotive, Mobile Services, and Fleet Services executive director, directors, and managers. 
- Responsible for developing people, improving processes, reducing costs, monitoring quality, delivering results against established objectives, and ensuring a high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Manages assigned employees by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing employee job contributions; maintaining compensation, resolving problems, and implementing change.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in business, sales, operations, or related field 
10 years’ experience in automotive or fleet management, membership services, sales, or similar field, or combination of education and experience 
5 years’ experience in upper management or executive leadership role
Master’s degree (MA/MS) in business, sales, operations, or related field preferred
Experience in a service organization industry preferred
