**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings. **Responsibilities:** - Install, inspect, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to NFPA standards - Assemble and build piping systems using various tools and techniques - Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout of system components - Conduct routine maintenance checks on systems to ensure proper functionality - Perform pipe threading, welding, and soldering as needed - Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other equipment to complete tasks - Test system performance and make necessary adjustments - Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other professionals to ensure system integration **Experience:** - Prior experience in fire sprinkler installation and maintenance preferred - Proficiency in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) for pipe welding - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of pipefitting principles - Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately - Familiarity with pipe threading techniques - Experience with using hand tools and measuring devices like calipers Join our team as a Fire Sprinkler Technician and contribute to the safety of buildings through expert installation and maintenance of fire protection systems.
