Position Summary:
AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Lake Charles, LA that is a premier provider of VIP/VVIP interior completions for large aircraft, ranging from B737 and A320 airframes to larger Boeing and Airbus. They are a leader in designing, manufacturing, and delivering aerospace products, services, and solutions to customers on a global scale. Their primary focus is on achieving design excellence and redelivering superior quality products to private entities, government officials, heads of state, and corporate protocol operators.
The Maintenance Planner reviews customer requirements, constructs bid estimates and develops workflow plans and production schedules in coordination with Operations.
Essential Functions:
- Plan and schedule maintenance work packages based on the availability of labor, tooling, materials, and equipment to ensure minimum aircraft down time and a balanced workload.
- Plan and originate requisitions for materials required for scheduled maintenance.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely arrival and location of parts required to accomplish maintenance.
- Make changes to the scheduled workflow in response to deferred maintenance items and repair/correction of items which affect the airworthiness or operational availability of aircraft.
- Plan maintenance workloads and prepare work packages for Operations and assist in making decisions regarding requests for changes by setting priorities for planned maintenance.
- Review the work plan with the respective project managers/supervisors/leads and maintain communications on the assigned planned maintenance.
- Support the Director of Sales Support and Programs with other business activities as needed.
- To always lead by example, through professional behavior, integrity, commitment to the company and compliance with its policies.
- Ensure the highest quality service, safety standards and performance, with the objective of exceeding customer satisfaction in the re-delivery of airworthy, reliable, and clean aircraft, in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning or Maintenance Programs at a Part 145 Repair Station, Part 1221/135 Airline, or Aircraft Equipment Manufacturer OEM.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Airframe and Powerplant ratings
