Research Associate
A Research Associate position is immediately available to investigate the molecular and cellular players that contribute to lung remodeling and test targeted interventions. Applicants must have a strong background in cellular and molecular biology, mouse model of experimentally induced lung fibrosis or lung injury, toxicology and isolation and analysis of epithelial cells, fibroblasts and macrophages from the lungs, immunocytochemistry and histochemistry, immunofluorescence microscopic techniques, flow cytometry and functional assays. Preference will be given to candidates with master or PhD degree with 3-5 years of research experience in studying chronic lung injury and remodeling, including pulmonary fibrosis, COPD or viral infections. Candidates with expertise in molecular interactions, lung diseases, matrix biology, glycobiology, macrophages biology, or transplant immunology are also encouraged to apply.
