Job Description

Join our dynamic team at AAHOA as a Graphic Designer and Content Production Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's visual identity and communications. This role is ideal for a creative, strategic thinker who is passionate about design and branding. You will be responsible for creating the overall concept and look for AAHOA's annual convention and trade show, designing brand boards for various initiatives such as HYPE and HerOwnership, and producing a broad range of marketing and communication assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative development and execution of the overall concept and visual theme for the AAHOA Annual Convention & Trade Show.
  • Design and develop brand boards for various AAHOA programs and initiatives, including HYPE and HerOwnership, ensuring consistency and alignment with our overarching brand strategy.
  • We create a wide array of marketing assets, such as flyers, digital presentations, sponsorship brochures, and materials for more than 150 events each year.
  • Craft engaging social media content that enhances our brand presence and engages our audience effectively across various platforms.
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns and assist with content creation as needed, ensuring all communications are visually appealing and strategically aligned with AAHOA's goals.
  • Oversee the production process from concept to completion, ensuring all design solutions meet high standards of creativity and innovation.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with print vendors and other external suppliers, overseeing production quality and timelines to meet project deliverables.
  • Manage and curate digital asset library content, ensuring all materials are organized and easily accessible for all stakeholders.
  • Participate in strategic brainstorming sessions, proposing new ideas for design and content initiatives that drive brand engagement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest design and digital content production trends, incorporating fresh and relevant approaches into your work.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of graphic and content initiatives through analytics, adapting strategies as needed to maximize impact.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, or a related field is preferred. 
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in graphic design and content production, ideally within a fast-paced business or agency environment.
  • A robust portfolio that demonstrates expertise in graphic design with a strong focus on digital and print media.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and familiarity with video editing and content management systems.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a proven track record of creating engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering innovative design solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

Work Environment

We operate in a hybrid model, three days in the office and two remotely. The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 annually. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with match, PTO, and paid holidays.
