Job Description:
We seek a detail-oriented and motivated Summer Intern to join our Finance team as an Invoice Creation Specialist. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in financial operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Preparation: Accurately prepare and generate invoices based on sales orders, contracts, and other relevant documents.
• Data Entry: Ensure all invoice details, including client information, billing amounts, and due dates, are correctly entered into the accounting system.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records of all invoices, supporting documents, and client correspondence.
• Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients and internal departments to resolve invoice-related queries or discrepancies.
• Compliance: Ensure all invoices comply with company policies and financial regulations.
• Reporting: Generate and review invoice reports to monitor billing status and ensure timely payments.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to improving invoicing processes by providing feedback and suggestions for efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience: Previous experience in a finance or administrative role is advantageous but not required.
