AAMCI is Hiring a Recertification Specialist Near Dayton, OH
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Creekside Townhomes is an affordable housing community with HUD Section 8 rent subsidy as well as Tax Credits LIHTC.
Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Verify income, assets, household composition and allowable expenses
- Prepare initial, annual, and interim certifications for assigned residents maintaining full compliance with HUD Section 8 and Tax Credit LIHTC regulations
- EIV record keeping and follow-up
- Maintain resident files in accordance with AAMCI policy and procedures
- Data entry and correspondence
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Minimum of 1 year HUD Section 8 certification experience (required)
- Tax Credit LIHTC certification experience (preferred)
- High level of organizational skills
- Ability to calmly handle difficult situations
- Work and interact effectively with others
- Yardi Voyager experience (preferred)
- Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or other affordable housing regulatory certification (preferred)
Benefits also include Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off and a 401(k) plan. In the 401(k) plan, employees are eligible after completing one year of employment and reaching an entrance date of January 1 or July 1. Company match employee contributions up to 5%, and employees are vested 100% from the first contribution.
