We are seeking a skilled Locums Hospitalist/Critical Care Physician for a challenging and rewarding position in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves providing acute and critical care services to hospitalized patients, with shifts available in both day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) rotations. The position may include the possibility of extended 7-day blocks based on staffing needs. 

In this role you deliver comprehensive acute and critical care services to a diverse patient population and manage a daily patient volume averaging between 10 to 15 patients. Additionally, physician will perform and oversee a range of procedural requirements, including central venous access, hemodialysis catheter placement, arterial lines, intubation, chest tubes (medical and surgical), lumbar punctures, and bronchoscopy with BAL. Collaboration with ICU nurses, charge nurses, respiratory therapists, EKG techs, ECHO techs, EEG techs, and other support staff is essential to optimize patient care outcomes.

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine.
• Active Alaska state medical license, or ability to obtain licensure.
