Technical Sales Manager
Job Overview:
This dynamic company is looking for a Technical Sales Manager that will act as a Principal liaison between customers, Operations and the company's Commercial team at all producing plants in order to validate the technical offers, overcome technical challenges for manufacturing and developments. Support of technical inquiries from and interaction with customers. Direct commercial responsibility for a defined set of customers (5-15 depending on complexity, dollar value and location).
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical sales efforts by understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies that align with technical capabilities.
- Conduct pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations.
- Utilize Azure and VMWare platforms to showcase product features and benefits to clients.
- Provide post-sales support by ensuring smooth implementation of technical solutions.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Engage in Linux system discussions with clients to address technical inquiries effectively.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering
- 7 years of experience with manufacturing required
- Experience in Material Processing
- This role will require frequent visits to customers as well as hosting visits as part of the Armor commercial team.
