Job Summary:
The Direct Care Worker will provide comprehensive non-medical care to total care patients. This role includes assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and supporting overall well-being.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in caregiving, particularly with bed-bound patients
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, but not required)
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and assisting with mobility.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):

  • Personal hygiene
  • Dressing
  • Eating
  • Continence care
  • Mobility
  • Toileting
  • Grooming

• Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs):

  • Meal preparation
  • Medication management (Reminder only)
  • Social and emotional support

• Documentation and reporting:

  • Keeping records of care provided, the patient’s condition, and any changes or incidents
  • Ensuring compliance with all documentation policies and procedures

Working Environment:

• Works indoors in a patient's home.

Schedule:
- Multiple 1st and 2nd shifts available now.
