Remote Position: Performance may require OCONUS support for CG mission. Any traveling overseas for classified support must abide by the International Security Requirements as directed by the NISPOM and any additional directives by USCG.

Education: It is preferred the candidate have ten years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining DHS or DOD electronics equipment.

Duties: The CCTV Engineering Technician must provide sustainment centered corrective maintenance response for equipment/systems during the O&M and disposition phases of the system development life cycle, to include incident management and deployment of systems and their components. The CCTV Engineering Technician must be able to track and use USCG logistical and support tools such as Remedy (CGFixIT, Incitement Management, Work Order Management, Release Management and Knowledge Management), EAL, ALMIS, and NESSS.

• Provide depot-level CCTV equipment/system SME support to resolve trouble tickets, work orders, and CASREPS generated from the USCG Centralized Service Desk, utilizing, monitoring, and updating CGFixIT (Remedy or latest C5ISC enterprise Incident Management Tool) or the Equipment Asset Log (EAL) application support tools as directed by the COR.
• Provide electronic module/repairable material turn in tracking and advise fleet units of turn-in due dates and required actions to complete equipment return.
• Provide CCTV equipment/system on-site technical support for analysis and/or repair requirements as the COR deems necessary. The CCTV Engineering Technician must also provide an associated After Action report within five (5) business days after any onsite visit as detailed in Section 2.3. (CDRL A002).
• Provide CCTV remote technical support, as appropriate, for identifying repair requirements.
• Support BOD-FCDS with the development and maintenance of databases as necessary. The COR must direct this activity within the BOD-FCDS-AFLOAT Section's responsibilities.
• Provide data collection support by sending emails and making phone inquiries to field commands/units, then organize and document the data obtained.
• Provided feedback to make revisions/updates to technical and logistics documents and project plans as the COR directs.
• Provide BOD-FCDS support and travel, if necessary, as the CCTV Engineering Technical Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) representative at meetings or represent BOD- FCDS as the COR directs.

CCTV Equipment/Systems. CCTV Technical Support duties must include (but not limited to) the following systems:

• 418-WMSL Surveillance & Tactical CCTV systems
• 154-WPC CCTV systems
• WMSL/WPC DVR system
• 1SG38-FDVS, 270-WMEC Flight Deck Video System 1SG38-FDVS, 210-WMEC Flight Deck Video System
