Our client is a bank. They are looking for an IT Programmer to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop interfaces using Python, VB Script, VBA Excel, and Microsoft SQL
• Manage the full life cycle of projects for specific Windows-based applications
• Write specifications and recommendations and handle planning, coding, and testing
• Provide back-up support for our off-the-shelf Business Applications
• Work extensively with end users and assist them as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Business
• 3 years of programming experience
• Business analysis experience in the banking industry
• Able to analyze business requirements and write functional specifications
• Able to develop/understand test plans and follow them for testing
• Experience with system implementation/upgrades
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Able to prioritize work based on business needs and requirements
