Abacus Group is Hiring a Recertification Specialist Near Queens, NY
Responsibilities
- Gather information pertinent to income certifications from the tenants to generate annual recertifications
- Liaise with tenants and property managers to verify submission of information and completion of the recertifications
- Verify income information received from the tenants per the program regulations and enter the data into Yardi
- Upon completion of the recertification, secure tenants’ signatures and all necessary sign-offs
- Review and update the tenants’ files according to the program requirements
- High school diploma, some college preferred
- 3-5 years of recertification experience
- Knowledge of Section 8, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, and HOME programs
- Excellent people skills, customer service oriented
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and Yardi
