Our client is an asset management firm. They seek a Senior Associate, Fund Accounting to join their Culver City, CA office. The opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule and competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare US GAAP financial statements for monthly reporting and SEC filings
• Produce quarterly footnote and MD&A disclosures and other analyses
• Monitor, track, and coordinate expense payments for the fund
• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations and fluctuation analyses
• Work with internal resources, fund administrators, and auditors to meet deadlines
• Oversee and review quarterly NAV packages from the fund administrator
• Handle monthly/quarterly close process and prepare account balance reconciliations
• Liaise with portfolio managers, investor relations, operations, tax and financial reporting
• Review reporting to investors, portfolio managers, and investor relations
• Collaborate with operations to manage daily cash and position breaks

Requirements

• 4 years of accounting/auditing experience
• Public (Big 4) or private accounting background
• Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CPA strongly preferred
• Skilled in Advent, Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau
