Our client is a retail company. They seek a Tax Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the analysis of financial inputs from accounting teams
- Review international calculations with detailed computations
- Coordinate automated input of work paper data with internal tax
- Assess foreign tax compliance including various forms and calculations
- Analyze, update, and manage standard tax reporting packages
- Manage the review of foreign branch tax compliance
- Handle tax cash forecasting for tax payments, initiating income tax payments
- Evaluate tax considerations of new branch locations for management
- Monitor international tax developments for potential company implications
- Identify opportunities to streamline tax compliance processes
Requirements
- 5 years of international tax experience
- Public or private accounting background
- Strong business intelligence and analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized with keen attention to detail
- CPA strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Corptax/OneSource
- Skilled in SAP and Hyperion
