Our client is a manufacturing company. They seek a Technical Accounting Manager to join their Stamford, CT office.
Responsibilities
- Research revenue recognition, business combinations, and impairment analyses
- Document technical accounting positions in memos and presentations
- Draft and disseminate technical accounting updates to the finance community
- Assess and implement new and emerging accounting pronouncements
- Support business combination accounting/purchase accounting (ASC 805)
- Assist with administration of stock-based compensation
- Manage lease accounting and monitor lease expirations with third-party providers
- Help prepare technical footnotes in Form 10-K & 10-Q
Requirements
- 4 years of technical accounting experience
- Knowledge of SEC and ASC 805
- Business Combinations/Purchase Accounting knowledge
- Open to industry background
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA strongly preferred
