A dynamic company is searching for a Director of Finance/Controller to join their leadership team. You will be engaged in:
- Overall responsibility for accounting and finance activities of the company
- Oversight of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes and
- Coordinates the preparation of financial statements
- Manage the relationship and interactions with external auditors and tax advisors
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Analysis and reporting
- Treasury
- Assist executive team with strategic planning
- Process improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain policies and controls
- Team supervision and development
You offer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance or similar field
- MBA/Masters Degree and/or CPA is a plus
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
- 8 years of progressive experience to a similar role
- Experience with mid to large market companies is a plus
- Strong technical accounting and finance background
- Experience in the commodities industry is a plus
- Effective leader with a positive personality style
- Enjoy leading a team and working with a variety of professionals
