Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse or distribution center environment.

Duties:

- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries
- Move goods to and from storage areas, production lines, trucks, or storage facilities
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety regulations
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to handle physical workload including lifting heavy objects
- Familiarity with various types of forklifts and their maintenance

Skills:

- Warehouse management
- Pallet jack operation
- Loading and unloading procedures
- Order picking processes
- Experience in a distribution center environment
- Order picker skills
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation
- Shipping and receiving procedures
- Operation of lift trucks/forklifts
