Abacus is looking for a Data Analyst, proficient in Excel, and able to learn other proprietary systems.

We are looking for someone with intermediate proficiency in excel. Since that means something different to everyone, here are the skills we do (and don’t) need:

REQUIRED:

These are the mandatory skills we require in this position:

• Ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets in excel
• Comfortable knowing how and when to cross reference spreadsheets (vlookup/xlookup etc…)
• Fully comfortable and experienced using a variety of basic formulas: sum(), sumifs(), countifs(), if(), value()/text(), etc…
• Fully comfortable and experienced with using Pivot Tables
• Ability to google solutions or ask for help when you get stuck!

NOT REQUIRED:

These are advanced skills that we *don’t* need (but you are most likely well-qualified if you do!)

• Power Query
• Power Pivot
• VBA

This position is semi-remote. You can work from home 3-4 days a week, and report into the office 1-2 days a week.

You would be working in our corporate office in our “Operations Support” team. We are a small group of 7 individuals who handle a variety of tasks for the rest of the company, from executive leadership through field operations. We handle a very large variety of tasks, such as business reviews, process improvements, managing technology systems, and quite a bit more! While you will have assigned weekly or monthly client reporting to handle, the rest of your time will be spent learning and handling various requests that come through. We work as a team to get all tasks accomplished. No two days are the same, which makes it a fun job to learn and grow in.
