Repair Technician

Your role and responsibilities
Follow all Safety, Integrity, and Quality processes, including verbal guidance Provide highest level of Customer Service by delivering quality, timely repairs and providing collaborative, positive communication with internal stake holders Achieve and maintain required competencies for scope of product supported Provide collaborative, positive feedback as a participant weekly repair meetings to support repairs in process, identifying issues, and resolving to provide minimal customer impact Follow defined processes (Eval, Repair, and Validation) without deviation. If an inconsistency is found, provide feedback to direct manager and support resolution Support projects to improve repair center efficiency, that is, Process Changes, BOL, FSL, Master Data, Repair Schedule, etc. as defined by management Support profitability in repairs: Validate warranty requests, ensure costing is accurate for repairs including accurate parts and labor reporting Ensure materials meet highest standards, that is, if refurbished is an option, ensure pre defined test criteria has been met through appropriate record keeping means Any additional housekeeping, maintenance, operational or administrative tasks as required or directed by supervisor
Qualifications for the role

• High School Diploma and more than 2 years of mechanical or electrical production or repair experience
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
