Your role and responsibilities:

We are looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager who will be a core member of the local Business Management Team, contribute to improving Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance in the respective organization to ensure an exemplary health and safety culture as well as a strong focus on the environment. Support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge to offer solutions and advice. Facilitate delivery of support from the Country and ensure effective risk management through HSE excellence along ABB’s value chain.

The work model for the role is: onsite (Li-Onsite)

This role is contributing to the Electrification Installation Products division in Portland, TN.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting line managers and supervisors in the organization in understanding obligations, liabilities and requirements

• Ensuring appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively, at the same time reporting the HSE incidents.

• Reporting on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives

• Drive behavioral change and ensuring HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practices

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor of Science in or a related discipline

Five (5) years demonstrated HSE experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience implementing ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

Flexible to work across 3 shifts and overtime as needed

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
